NFL Season Opener

I've said before that I'm not a huge football fan, but I've been a little more willing to watch ever since I splurged my tax check on a 56-inch HD television.

Anybody else watch the Colts spank the Saints last night? I had a feeling they would win, but that second half was just brutal. I almost felt bad for New Orleans.

I don't watch football but I love my big screen HD TV. We got a 42" panasonic last december. Discovery HD is my favorite HD channel. The planet earth series was AMAZING!

Yeah I saw the game.What a blow out!
I tire of seeing lopsided games such as the one last night.
Don't care what teams are playing.Like to see a good battle.

Indy sorta has a light schedule in front of them.

I like a good game too, but I don't mind seeing my home team completely thrash their opponent every now and then... especially after seeing countless games we should have won, but then handed over in the final quarter.

Their schedule is pretty light - especially for the first half of the season. Is that the usual reward for winning the Super Bowl?

Yeah, I'm a big fan of PBS because almost all of the programming is in HD. My friends make fun of us because we have a really nice tv and no cable. :) It's used mostly to show movies though.

When I was growing up I was only allowed to watch PBS, and I am still a big fan. If it wasn't for matt, I would never have gotten cable. My favorite PBS shows are Victory Garden, Nova, and BBQ University. :)
